The House of Representatives has not been able to hold a session since the impeachment of the Speaker of the House of Representatives was put on the agenda. Vice-Speaker Eva Abdullah has sent greetings to the sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Monday due to illness. The MDP has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to direct the parliamentary administration to hand over the presidency to another member in the absence of Vice-Speaker Eva Abdullah.
