Pres. inaugurates newly completed infrastructure in two islands of Raa atoll

A freshly completed water and sewerage network, along with a water supply system, have been officially introduced to two islands within the Raa atoll.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih presided over the formal inauguration of the recently finished water and sewerage infrastructure on Inguraidhoo and Innamaadhoo islands. This event was a part of his ongoing campaign tour throughout the Raa atoll, undertaken in his bid for re-election in the upcoming Presidential election scheduled for September.

The projects that were unveiled on a Thursday encompassed two main aspects: firstly, the water and sewerage network on Inguraidhoo, which was executed by Altec Maldives Private Limited, and secondly, the water supply network on Innamaadhoo, a project completed by the Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC).

These initiatives align with the administration's commitment to establishing water and sewerage networks across all inhabited islands, significantly enhancing the overall quality of life for these local communities.
