Don't worry, I will develop the Giravaru more fully: Aslam
President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih's running mate Mohammed Aslam has said that those who received land in Giraavaru Falhu and Gulhi Falhu instead of Hulhumale should not worry.
The government has allocated land in Hulhumale, Giraavaru Falhu and Gulhi Falhu areas. Some people are complaining about the lack of land in the developed Hulhumale, Aslam said.
Speaking at an MDP rally held at Kaaniva area, Aslam gave them a message not to worry. He said that when the city allocated land, many people gave up because they had to do it by dredging. However, those who did so are now receiving many benefits, he said. Similarly, those who received houses from Giraavaru Falhu and Gulhi Falhu also have a huge benefit, he said.
“It will be better planned than Heathrow. It will be more complete and better than a 20-year plan. Don't worry about that,” Aslam said.
Aslam said the government has done what no other government dared to do and it has brought great relief to the people of Malay. The government's efforts to make Male a place where people can live will benefit the people of the entire country, he said.
That is why the people have so much support for this government, he said.
“This is over, this is over, it is over, it is over, we are seeing this scene from the north, south and central Sri Lanka, Malay and especially this scene,” Aslam said, describing the support for the government.
Aslam said the MDP was formed to change the country and bring better things to the people. The MDP and this government are still in the process. Even if some people leave the party, the party will not weaken, he said.
"The MDP's ideology has not changed. It has changed and left a hidden ideology, not our ideology. The MDP has always worked on this ideology to find the best for the people," Aslam said.
"Kachidu Naeembe says this is a strong banana tree, a banana tree will not affect the tree, we see the party is expanding, members are increasing, support is increasing.
