I keep the data, President will win more than 56 percent: Fayyaz

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will win a second term with more than 56 percent of the vote in Saturday's presidential election, MDP Chairman and Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail said tonight.

At the "Happy City" rally at the Carnival tonight, Fayyaz said the results are very clear from the data he is looking at in this campaign. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will win the election with a large majority.

"I am the one who keeps the data in this campaign. I can assure you that we will not fall below 56 percent by a single vote," Fayyaz said.

"I was elected to run this party," Fayyaz said, repeating the round with everyone at the carnival.

"Every day that increases as the President said is the day that 56 percent increases. There is no doubt. On September 9, we will win this election by a big margin," he said.
