Malaysia Airlines resumes flights to Maldives

Malaysia Airlines (MH) has decided to resume direct flights to Maldives. The airline will start direct flights to Maldives from August 1 this year, a Malaysian newspaper quoted the airline as saying. Once these flights are launched, there will be one daily flight between the capital Kuala Lumpur and Maldives.The airline will also operate direct flights to Chiang Mai, Thailand and Da Nang, Vietnam.

"We believe there is a lot of competition in the market," the airline's chief commercial officer Dersenish Aresanduran told reporters. The price of tickets in the market today is the best price available.
